Bio
Pixelsocks is that guy you know: the one who's tragically and chronically obsessed with video games and just won't shut up about them. Yeah, that one.

Stop wincing. Thanks to the magical power of the internet, you can now have a digest of his informed opinions when you actually want them (not just when you can't think of a socially convenient excuse to escape). If it turns out that I like doing this kind of thing, maybe I'll actually register a domain. In the meantime, you get nominal formatting control and text ads aplenty!

Why should you listen to me? Well, here's my CV:

Pixelsocks was born on the wild tundra of the Iowa wastes. His idylic life with his loving parents was cut short when the evil empire burned his village to the ground. Narrowly escaping with his life, he vowed revenge and unimaginably tedious cutscenes where he'd sit in a chair and reflect for pages and pages of text. Setting out on his adventure, Pixelsocks happened upon a crone in a cave. Paying her 50 rupees for suitably heroic directions, he received only incoherent mumblings about, "north, west, south, west," and set off to find a ragtag group of adventurers who shared nothing in common but their hatred for the empire. When all he could come up with was a Psyduck and two hippies (who turned back to normal with a liberal application of psychic powers and a baseball bat), he realized that he’d been manipulated by the empire for the last 70% of his life to further their own ends. Frustrated and disillusioned, Pixelsocks hit triangle, hijacked a car, and drove back to the charred remains of his town where he found his Ultimate Weapon: the NES. Why the hell he couldn't have just gotten that at the beginning is anybody's guess, but most of us suspect that it's a cheap gimmick to sell stragety guides.

Since then he's played a lot of video games and he enjoys thinking about and discussing them a great deal.
